In addition to the LED field, FormLED GmbH has been concentrating on the marine research projects since 2019. The focus has been put on the energy supply for subsea applications. Based on this research, a pressure tolerant technology has been designed that allows safe and stable operations of electronic components at depths up to 6,000 meters below sea level. Pressure tolerant encapsulation and high performance parameters are two key characteristics of our product range for the subsea industry. For clients, it enables more compact designs in size and longer missions for subsea applications meaning considerable cost savings in production and during operating. In addition, we offer custom electronic assemblies for subsea applications. Our products and technologies for the subsea sector are represented by the Aequonics™ brand.
